Bando

Hailing from Arlington, Texas, Bando. is a thought provoking, compelling artist using his platform to promote growth, self-awareness and music based in emotion. He grew up an avid hip hop fan, with influences ranging from the likes of Kanye West, Lupe Fiasco, Oukast and Pharell, to name a few.. Formerly known as B. Anderson, Bando. Made his first introduction to the Dallas Hip-Hop scene with his 2014 release, "Adolessons". It resulted in a small wave throughout Dallas, with Bando. receiving the claim of “The Latest Dallas Rapper to Watch” by the Dallas-based publication, Central Track (2014). After taking some time off to finish school, B offered his sophomore attempt, "2 1/2 Minutes Til Midnight" with producer Kris Minor, in 2017. This release made an even bigger impact, showing B's improvement in skill level over time.

In Summer 2018, B made a strong statement  as a Dallas mainstay with his “M.A.D.E. Visual Series” release. “M.A.D.E” showed B’s attention to detail and knack for conceptual storytelling. This only broadened with the drop of the Greenhouse EP in February 2019. The Greenhouse project showed his diversity to hop on tracks with other artists and producers, while also showing his skillset outside of music, pairing a reality series with the release of the project. The stand-out track from this EP, ‘Mid-Season Form’, quickly made it to the airwaves and was played on the K-104 radio station the same week of its release. Soon after, Anderson began working with the likes of EDM producer Alexander Lewis, and went on to release a slew of singles that only built his buzz throughout 2019.

In 2020, after moving to Los Angeles, California, B made the decision to fully come into himself as the complete artist he was building up to this point in his career. With it came the name change to “Bando.”, which B himself describes as “the true artist side of who Brandon Anderson really is. He’s his own entity”. With this rebrand came a new confidence and swagger from the artist which was inherently apparent in his December 2020 EP, “Bellflower”. This project is B’s strongest and most honest collection of music to date. With a substantial amount of experience now under his belt, Bando. is slated to have a big 2021 and beyond.
